Rehearsal dinner

All of our out-of-town guests, please join us for a casual rehearsal dinner Saturday evening. We have reserved a picnic shelter at Schenley Park, a few minutes' drive from each of the hotels.

The party starts at 4 p.m., and dinner will arrive at 5 p.m. Wear comfortable, casual clothes. We are bringing a frisbee and wiffle ball and bat. Please feel free to bring any other games as well. Our shelter is also right next to a playground. Be prepared to have a great time relaxing with friends and family.

There are numerous one-way streets around here, so we have included directions to get to the park, and as well as directions to return to your hotels.

Directions from the Wyndham to the park:

• Turn left out of the hotel parking garage
• Turn right onto Forbes Ave.
• Turn right onto Schenley Drive Extension
• Turn left onto Schenley Drive
• Go straight through the park (past Phipps Conservatory)
• Turn right at the stop sign
• Go straight underneath the bridge
• Bear right to follow signs toward Schenley Oval
• Wind around the park until you see Camp David Lawrence on the left

To return from the park to the Wyndham:

· Keep going through the park until the road ends at a stop sign. Then turn left.

· Turn left at the traffic light onto Panther Hollow Road.

· Take the first exit on the right. (There is a small sign that says Phipps Conservatory/Flagstaff Hill/Oakland.) Turn right at the end of the ramp.

· Turn left onto Frank Curto Drive.

· Turn right at the second traffic light, Schenley Drive.

· Turn left at the second traffic light, Fifth Avenue.

· Turn left at the sixth traffic light, McKee Place.

· Go across Forbes Avenue, and the Wyndham will be on your right.

From the Holiday Inn:

• - Return to Fifth Ave. and turn right.
• - Turn left onto Bigelow Blvd. (It will change names to become Schenley Drive.)
• - Turn left at the next light (this road will also be called Schenley Drive)
• - Go straight through the park (past Phipps Conservatory)
• - Turn right at the stop sign and keep winding around
• - Go straight underneath a bridge
• - Bear right to follow signs toward Schenley Oval
• - Wind around the park until you see Camp David Lawrence on the left.

To return to the Holiday Inn:

• · Keep going through the park until the road ends at a stop sign. Then turn left.
• · Turn left at the traffic light onto Panther Hollow Road.

- Turn right onto Bigelow Blvd.

- After ½ mile, turn right to continue on Bigelow Blvd.

- Turn left at the first traffic light to continue on Bigelow Blvd.

- Bigelow’s name will change to Schenley Drive

- Turn left at the third traffic light to continue on Schenley Drive

- Go straight through the park (past Phipps Conservatory)

- Turn right at the stop sign and keep winding around

- Go straight underneath a bridge

- Bear right to follow signs toward Schenley Oval

- Wind around the park until you see Camp David Lawrence on the left.

To return to the Residence Inn:

· Keep going through the park until the road ends at a stop sign. Then turn left.

· Turn left at the traffic light onto Panther Hollow Road.

We are so excited to get married, and cannot wait to share our day with each of you. As tradition goes, we did register at several stores, listed below. Wedding Menu

Our wedding will include a sit-down dinner. We request that everyone pick their dinner entree preference beforehand - but since we understand many of our guests have allergies or other dietary restrictions (don't worry we are used to it we are as bad if not worse), below please find a description of the entrees.

Chicken Wellington
Tender Breast of Chicken Filled with Prosciutto Ham, Fontina Cheese, Herb Butter, Crimini Mushrooms, Encased in Puff Pastry and Served with a Wild Mushroom Port Demi

Blackened Red Snapper
Served with Roasted Red Pepper Coulis and Avocado Puree

Pasta Primavera
Pasta with fresh vegetables in a olive oil sauce

All entrees will be served with:
- Fresh Spinach Salad with baby spinach, strawberries, pears, toasted pine nuts and Gorgonzola crumbled cheese and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing
- Italian Wedding Soup

Rehearsal Dinner and Morning After Brunch

We will be planning a casual rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and out of town guests. Once we have the details we will pass them along.

For everyone who is still in town, and awake, the morning after the wedding, we will hold a morning after brunch at our house. We will pass along details as soon as we have them.

At each hotel ask for the Flathmann/Sandler wedding to get the discounted rate. Most hotels will only offer the discount until 30 days prior to the wedding.

If you have any trouble with the hotel, including not enough rooms, please let Rob or Jessica know and we will take care of it.

For those staying at the Wyndham, we have a shuttle bus scheduled to run from the University Club to the hotel from approximately 8:30 until approximately 10:30 p.m. so you can easily make it home safely.

Additionally, each hotel should have a shuttle service to transport you to the wedding which starts at 4 p.m. - call the hotel lobby several hours in advance and request the shuttle.
